Barnes Wallis – Amber Ales – 4.1%

Named after Ripley’s local hero, who lived near the brewery tap, Barnes Wallis is Amber Ales best selling session ale. Styled as an easy-drinking IPA-style bitter, copper-coloured for a full malt flavour and hopped with Northern Brewer and spicy Syrian Goldings.

Nightwatchman – East London – 4.5%

It’s a darker, warm, smooth bitter. Red tinged in colour, relatively well hopped with sweeter notes.

Bridgnorth Porter – Hop and Stagger – 5.0%

A beautifully balanced dark beer with complex layers of taste that gives your taste buds hints of chocolate with some dark fruit notes coming through alongside the suggestion of caramel. All of that sweetness is then perfectly balanced by the hops that deliver citrus and spice.

Scarlett Macaw- Oakham – 4.4%

Ravening Wolf – Wantsum – 5.9%

The nickname given to Odo, Earl of Kent and half brother of William the Conqueror who was tried for defrauding the crown. A strong New Zealand Pale Ale. Toasted biscuit and rye malt flavours support a pine lemon hop crispness with a hint of vanilla.

Oxford Dark Blue – White Horse – 4.3 %

Here’s something that looks like a bitter but tastes like a stout. The look is traditional enough, golden amber with a ring of white head; but the aroma is full of cocoa; in the mouth it’s sweet with a rich cocoa taste and a slight bitterness; the finish is satisfying, long, and dry. Odd, unexpected, but rather good.
