April 2014, 12 of them were Won, 2 were Drawn & 4 were Lost & 40 goals were scored & 18 goals conceded in the process, with Paul Rennie the Vice Captain of the Team playing in all of these 18 Fathom Games ) either by playing, umpiring and going in goals when needed and driving to away games & for Amy down the club doing the teas down the club after home games and I hope to see you all who played apart of the Stafford Fathoms / 5th. Team coming back in September to carry on the good work of this season.

Umpires : N/A
Stafford Fathom Team / 5th. Team ( 14 players ) :
Neil Jinks ( GK )( drove certain team members to Bridgnorth ), Paul Rennie ( drove certain team members to Bridgnorth), Kyle Rennie, Daniel Rennie, Jamie Ferguson ( went direct to Bridgnorth ), Dan Wheawall, Matthew Till, Tyler Murray, Harry Coltman, Rob Peatfield ( drove certain team members to Bridgnorth ), Taran Bassie, Peter Chiu ( drove certain team members to Bridgnorth ), Jack Fudger & John Sinclair ( Re : 15 minute run out at end of game ).
If you wish or want to know how this game went, then please e mail Dan Wheawall on firstname.lastname@example.org or text him on 07807586221 for run down on this game, especially how Stafford came in at half-time nil-nil, when even Bridgnorth players commented at this stage of the game that Stafford should be leading by 3 or more goals & Neil Jinks in goals for Stafford not even touching the ball in this half.
Man of the Match was awarded to young Kyle Rennie by Stafford Fathom Captain, John Sinclair who was watching the majority of this game on the sidelines, but when he came on 15 minutes before the end of the game for Peter Chiu, the deadlock was broken as Jamie Ferguson scored the only goal of the game for Stafford Fathom / 5th. Team ( after numerous chances to score before this ) as Stafford ran out worthy winners by this solitary goal.
The game was played by both teams in the right spirit & the hospitality afterwards provided by Bridgnorth was as last time, fantastic / superb and that was why Stafford were willing to play Bridgnorth Fathoms again, when the game on Saturday 25th. January was curtailed due to severe weather conditions ( i.e. hailstorm, thunder & lightening ).
Plus it was great to see an ex-player, Logic who lives near Bridgnorth Hockey Club and use to play in goals for certain Stafford Hockey Teams up until a few seasons ago, pop along yesterday to say hello and to watch the second half of this Fathom Game at Bridgnorth and to have a drink afterwards with everyone in Bridgnorth’s clubhouse.
