Oxford Dark Blue – White Horse – 4.3 %

Here’s something that looks like a bitter but tastes like a stout. The look is traditional enough, golden amber with a ring of white head; but the aroma is full of cocoa; in the mouth it’s sweet with a rich cocoa taste and a slight bitterness; the finish is satisfying, long, and dry. Odd, unexpected, but rather good.
